In this video, it shows the acoustic test comparison after installed acoustic pyramid across room types: Music Studio, Home Theater, Meeting Room, Indoor Stadium, and Sound Insulation & Vibration
STC (Sound Transmission Class) is a numerical rating of how effective a material blocks the transmission of sound through itself. The rating is applicable for hard materials such as rubberized sound barriers, concrete, brick, and drywall. It also applies to a much lesser degree to softer materials like mineral fiber, with a test as part of a wall system to verify its effectiveness.
Follow the guidelines below to install acoustic panels to your walls step by step.
Follow the instruction in this video to extract the acoustic foam.
Put the Studio Foam out for your specific application. Keep in mind that you want the foam evenly distributed throughout the room.
Measure any areas that need to be field cut on the foam and make the appropriate cuts (examples would be around beams, doorways, or if a short piece is needed). After all the pieces have been field cut, put the material back in the appropriate position on the wall or ceiling and lightly mark the bottom and side of where each piece will be lightly with a pencil to ensure straight application.
There are two ways to put the acoustic foams on the designated wall.
Method 1: Use Arrowzoom Sticky Double Sided Tape. Each foam should use 4 tapes. One for each corner. Once you peel off the sticker, the Acoustic Foams should easily sticky to the surface of your choice.
Method 2: Glue each piece individually with PL Polyurethane Construction Adhesive. Create a perimeter around the outside of the material staying 1 1/2" away from the edge. Create an X pattern across the center of the material.
(Note: Due to Shipping Reason, we do not sell Glue)
Line up the materials on marked lines from Step 3 and press firmly against the material compressing the foam. Repeat step for remaining pieces of foam.

Surprisingly fast shipping, considering the shipping conf. said it comes out of 'HK', my only guess was Hong Kong? I thought it would take weeks -not the case at all! Foam perked back up easily outdoors, I let them dry across our cars...affixed with fabric glue to some cotton that matched wall colors, hung the assemblies with tacks. Not-too-shabby results. The entrance buffer for our editing suite in a noisy house.
The Black and Red foam bundle was a nice match with my lighting. The Black and Gray bundled added subtly to my room. The colors are very nice and couldn't be happier with the result! I can spend my summer playing Azur Lane loudly.
Jam away! Absolutely love the look with these foam! I ordered 100 pieces of black and 100 pieces of gray. It was enough for 3 dies of the wall. The sound quality is amazing now! It was definitely worth the time and investment.
Good product but do not stick with double-sided tape because it does not hold. Glue is imperative.
Hi Eric! Thanks for writing in. For installation, we recommend using our adhesive tapes. Make sure to apply the amount required for the panel to stick on the wall. For adhesive tape, it should be on the 4 corners and 1 in the middle. I hope it helps! If anything, please feel free to let us know. Thank you!
