EchoArt panels sit between the noise and the ceiling and break the loop. The hexagonal waffle face scatters sound waves so they don't reflect cleanly. How many panels do I need for a 10 m² room?

For a noticeable echo cut, plan on 20–30% ceiling coverage. In a 10 m² room that's roughly 4× 60×60 cm or 2× 100×100 cm panels.

Will this work on a concrete or drop ceiling?

Yes. The included brackets mount to drop-ceiling T-bars and drywall (with anchors). For direct concrete you'll need standard masonry screws and plugs (sold separately).

What's the sound absorption rating?

Polyester fiberboard panels absorb mid and high frequencies — the ranges that cause speech echo and reverb. They are not designed to block low-frequency bass or stop sound from passing through walls.

Are they fire-safe?

Yes — Class B fire-rated. For commercial venues, confirm local code requirements before installing.

Can I paint them?

We don't recommend painting. Paint clogs the porous fibres and reduces sound absorption. Pick from our six stock colours instead.

How heavy is each panel?

A 60×60 cm panel is about 0.4 kg, the 80×80 is about 0.7 kg, and the 100×100 is about 1.1 kg. Light enough for drop ceilings and standard drywall anchors.

How long do they last?

Indoor use only. Owners report 5+ years with no sagging, fading, or shedding when kept dry and out of direct sunlight.

Can I clean them?

Wipe with a dry microfibre or vacuum on low. No water, no liquid cleaners — moisture damages the fibre core.

I was honestly blown away by how effective this ceiling diffuser turned out to be. Installation was straightforward and it made a noticeable difference in my recording space without messing with the lighting. It looks clean and professional and Im seriously thinking about adding more.

After trying acoustic foam panels in my setup I noticed a clear improvement in my audio quality especially when recording or streaming. My voice sounds much cleaner and less echoey and the overall sound feels more focused and professional. I realized that it is not about covering every wall but placing the panels correctly like behind my mic and on nearby walls made the biggest difference. The before and after change was quite noticeable. That said I also learned that these panels do not soundproof the room so they will not block outside noise but they do a great job at improving the sound inside the space.

I started with DIY acoustic solutions to save budget and built my own soundproof chamber which already had hexagon wall panels installed but the room still was not fully controlled because of ceiling reflections.
