Silence the Room Without Losing Your View.
The Soundproof Curtain PRO KK1455 blocks noise and cold air — but it also blocks your view. If you need to monitor a workshop floor, see a performer from the control room, keep an eye on the hallway, or just let light through while keeping drafts out, the solid curtain isn't the right tool.
The Soundproof Curtain PRO with Window is. Same three-layer high-density cotton construction as the Soundproof Curtain PRO — same sound dampening, same thermal insulation, same no-tool hanging installation. But with a built-in double-glazed shatter-resistant glass window that lets you see through without breaking the acoustic and thermal seal.
One curtain. Blocks noise. Blocks cold. Keeps you connected to what's on the other side.

How it works
Sound dampeningThree layers of high-density cotton fill add mass and absorption to your door assembly. More mass = less sound transfer. The curtain overlaps the frame, covering the gaps where most noise actually leaks through.
Thermal insulationDense cotton layers trap air and slow heat transfer in both directions — cold stays out, warmth stays in. Your HVAC works less, and drafts stop at the curtain instead of reaching you.
The window — see through, stay sealedThe double-glazed shatter-resistant panel is set into the curtain body with an insulated frame. Light passes through. Your line of sight stays open. The acoustic and thermal seal stays intact.
Why double-glazed matters: A single pane of glass conducts cold and transmits sound with little resistance. Two panes with an air gap between them insulate thermally and add a meaningful barrier to sound transmission — the same principle used in professional studio glass.

Size guide: Choose a curtain at least 10–15 cm (4–6 in) wider than your door on each side and 5–10 cm (2–4 in) longer than the door height. Overlap past the frame is what seals the gaps — that's where noise and cold actually enter.
What's in the box
- 1 × Soundproof Curtain PRO with Window — KK1456 (your size and color)
- Quick-start install guide with size, hanging, and window-care recommendations
Note: Curtain rod, over-door hooks, and hanging hardware are not included. Use a rod rated for at least 15–20 kg — the glass panel adds significant weight vs. a standard fabric curtain.
Install in 3 steps
-
Choose your hanging method. Use a curtain rod mounted above the door frame, heavy-duty over-door hooks, or a ceiling-mounted track. Position the rod so the window lands at a comfortable eye level for your use case — typically mid-curtain height works for most standing-height sightlines.
-
Hang and let it settle. Slide the curtain onto the rod or hooks. The weight of the fill layers and the glass panel will pull it straight within a few hours. Do not force-fold or compress the window area during storage or installation.
-
Check coverage and sightline. Close the curtain, check all edges overlap the frame, then confirm the window is positioned where you need it. Adjust the rod height if the sightline needs to move.
Studio pro tip: Mount the rod so the window sits at seated eye level from the control room chair. Mark the ideal position on the wall before drilling the rod brackets — you want the sightline dialed in before it goes up.
Made for
- Recording studios where the engineer needs to see the performer without losing acoustic treatment
- Workshops and garages where you need to monitor the other side without opening the door
- Warehouses and factories where supervisors need visibility into production areas
- Home offices where you want to see if someone's approaching without breaking the sound barrier
- Nurseries where parents want to check on sleeping children without opening the door
- Renters who can't make permanent changes — no drilling, no adhesive, no door damage
Not for: complete room-to-room soundproofing, open outdoor exposure without overhead cover, or replacing door weatherstripping. If you don't need a window, the KK1455 gives identical acoustic and thermal performance at $10 less.

FAQ
Does the window weaken the soundproofing?
Less than you'd expect. The double-glazed panel uses two panes with an air gap between them — the same principle as professional studio observation windows. It performs significantly better than a single pane and better than an open gap. The curtain body (non-window area) performs identically to the KK1455.
Does the window weaken the thermal insulation?
Glass conducts temperature more readily than cotton fill, so the window is the coldest point of the curtain. The double-glazed construction minimizes this considerably. If your only goal is maximum thermal blocking with no visibility needed, the KK1455 will edge it out — but for mixed needs, KK1456 is the right call.
Where is the window positioned on the curtain?
The window is set into the curtain body — check the product images for exact position on your size. Generally it sits at comfortable standing eye level. Adjust the curtain rod height to move the window's effective sightline position up or down.
Can the glass break, and what happens if it does?
The glass is shatter-resistant — designed to resist breakage from normal handling and accidental impact. If it does break, it fractures into small blunt pieces rather than sharp shards. Contact service@arrowzoom.com for replacement options.
Will this completely block sound from the other room?
No acoustic curtain eliminates sound. The Soundproof Curtain PRO with Window significantly dampens noise passing through door gaps and the door assembly — most buyers report a noticeable and practical difference. For full room-to-room isolation you need wall mass (MLV, drywall, Green Glue) plus air sealing at every penetration.
What size should I order?
Measure your door width and height. Add at least 10–15 cm (4–6 in) to each side of the width and 5–10 cm (2–4 in) to the height. The curtain must overlap the frame on all sides — that overlap is what seals the gaps where noise and cold actually enter.
Is a curtain rod included?
No — the curtain rod, hooks, or ceiling track are not included. Use a rod rated for at least 15–20 kg — the glass panel makes this heavier than a standard curtain.
How is this different from the Door Kit PRO (KK1244)?
The Door Kit PRO (KK1244) uses self-adhesive acoustic panels applied directly to the door surface — STC-rated, permanent, panel-based. KK1456 is a hanging curtain with a view window — no adhesive, no permanent installation, covers the frame gaps panels can't reach, and gives you visibility. They solve different problems and can be used together.
Can I use this on a sliding door or garage door?
Yes — use a ceiling-mounted track. For wide openings, use two panels side-by-side with a center overlap. Position each panel so the window is at a useful sightline height on both sides of the overlap.
