STC (Sound Transmission Class), is a numerical rating of how effective a material is at blocking the transmission of sound through itself. This rating generally applies to hard materials like rubberized sound barriers, concrete, brick and drywall but also applies to a much lesser degree to softer materials like mineral fiber (although it isn’t tested by itself; it’s tested as part of a wall system to verify its effectiveness).
Hold the painting up against the wall to mark the height and position of the hooks of the painting. It is recommended that the center is parallel with the line of sight.
Hammer the pins of the frame hanger hook straight in on the marks you have made on the wall. Remember not to knock on the white hook itself. (Otherwise, you may use any other hanging tools available.)
Hang and move it into position. Check the alignment using the Torpedo level that is included with the package. If the bubbles stay in the middle then the frame is horizontally aligned.
